Descriptive and explanatory models of career development and counseling career practice analysis.Research targets includes
modeling variables explaining how originally indefinite individuals come to develop vocational interest and school, occupational, and
life projects, to operate choices connected to their active life, and to control their implementation. The motivational and
volitional processes required to address changing conditions of Western contemporary societies are particularly investigated both at the
levels of the descriptive and explanatory models and career counseling practices to clarify the way individuals mobilize their
self-regulatory resources to deal with mastering vocational development tasks, coping with occupational transitions, and adjusting to
work traumas and contingencies that mark life construction.
