The Unité de Recherche sur l'Enseignement des Mathématiques (UREM) aims at contact teachers of primary, secondary and university level interested in developing a coherent teaching approach throughout the whole education. UREM is devoted to study mathematics teaching in the widest sens.

Elaboration of training instrument for mathematics teachers from kindergarden to the end of high school

This project is conducted by the CREM under a research contract  with the Communauté Française de Belgique. Our unit contributes to it with the  help of academic personal (Buekenhout, Parker, Sengier), of researchers  on partial contracts (Bouckaert, Gossez, M. Frédérickx) and free  researchers (M. Lartillier, C. Frédérickx) looking for situations  giving sense to numbers, to geometry and to functions.
