Identification of candidat genes responsible for premature ovarian failure
Premature ovarian failure is defined by the stop of the ovarian function before the age of 40 years. Various etiologies have been already identify but the causes are still unknown in most of the cases. Genetic origin may be involved in 40% of the cases. The aim of the project is to identify new genes responsible for premature ovarian failure. DNA from patients diagnosed with premature ovarian failure is collected and stored for further analysis using sequencing.
