Person in charge of the unit : ANDRE Bruno.

Our research mainly focuses on the yeast S. cerevisiae which is a paradigm model system for dissecting the molecular mechanisms of basic cellular functions
in eukaryotes. A wide panel of methods are readily applicable to yeast, ranging from classical genetics and biochemistry to genomics and proteomics.
Furthermore, basic cellular mechanisms are highly conserved from yeast to human. This is why some aspects of our work have now been extended to mammals as
well.
