We study the molecular mechanisms involved in the formation of sapwood and its differentiation in heartwood. This biological
process will be studied by performing in parallel analyses a three different biologically associated levels : at the genetic level
(expression/repression of genes), at the biochemical level (protein) and at the chemical level (metabolite profiling).
