The neuromuscular pathology unit bas developed technics to identify the membrane proteins linked to different muscular
dystrophies, like dystrophin, the lack of which is responsible of Duchenne myopathy. These technics are used currently for the immuno-
cytochemical djagnosis of myopathjes. The quantification by immunoblotting of these proteins will allow to detect affections caused, not
by their absence, but by a quantitative deficit or a decrease of their length.
